Nuss Especially of interest to academics and those engineers who seek touchstone information. It is interesting to use comtemporary strength values for reinforcing steel and concrete and compare the results of using these tables and graphs to contemporary ASD methdology. Many of the buldings designed in this era are still serviceable. This is a useful resource for engineers involved in forensic engineering and refurbishing vintage structures; it can give one a reasonable estimate of structural capacity and save time and follow-on effort. I have used this in investigations of old buildings being turned into contemporary offices, loft apartments and condos.Colonel David A. Nuss
