By A Writer This book, in Middle English, is an excellent introduction to both the real and imagined life of King Richard the Lion Hearted. He is, interestingly enough, a direct ancestor of my wife, along with all of the Plantagenet Dynasty of kings. The prose is well written, and there are copious notes and a glossary. If you are into Middle English texts and literature, this book should be in your library.
